This is a collection of instrumentals I wrote and recorded a few years ago - exactly same same premise as the previous collection, each track written, recorded and mixed in a single (hazy) session, over the course of 2017.

Tried to incorporate a few slightly more adventurous elements this time, like programming my own drums rather than just using the auto-drummer setting in Logic, and really went to town on layering, panning, effects, better bass-lines and keyboards/synths, and (most importantly) trying to dial in some really nice guitar tones.

I love the feeling of sitting with a completely empty page (or Logic session), and watching it become full - and really enjoyed making these tunes. Even though there's massive room for improvement and some of them are quite rough around the edges, I think they're a pretty honest reflection of how I was feeling and playing at the time - they weren't written for any particular reason, or with any end goal in mind - just for the sake of experimenting and creating.
